Position: Master Industrial Electrician

This role focuses on supporting operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, with an emphasis on new construction and manufacturing equipment installations. Responsibilities
This summary covers the main responsibilities but is not exhaustive.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including NFPA 70E and NEC compliance.
- Plan, design, and execute electrical wiring for new and existing systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues in CNCs, robotics, vision systems, labelers, palletizers, temperature controllers, servo motors, HMIs, and PLCs.
- Work with electrical systems up to 480 volts.
- Interpret and utilize wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical blueprints, including European designs.
- Install, test, and repair electrical components such as wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, and conduits.
- Test systems for continuity, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain and repair industrial control systems, motors, generators, transformers, and related equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records.
- Train production staff in machine operation and maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Licensed Industrial Journeyman Electrician.
- NFPA 70E certification or equivalent training.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Familiarity with national, state, and local electrical codes.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively on projects.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, or crawling.
- Experience with blow molding equipment is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel for work occasionally.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Lift and carry objects weighing 30-50 pounds.
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as climbing, bending, and squatting.
- Operate effectively in environments with temperatures between 60°F and 110°F.
- Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Ability to visually detect defects and ensure quality standards.
